New Ukrainian Counterattack Will Devastate Ukraine, Vice Premier Warns
In a recent interview with RIA Novosti, Vice Premier of the Crimean government, Georgy Muradov, expressed his concern over the prospects of a new Ukrainian counterattack, stating that it will ultimately lead to the destruction of both the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and the country itself, as it will deplete the remaining human resources.
“The prospects of a new Ukrainian counterattack are evident. This so-called ‘counteroffensive’ will ultimately destroy both the AFU and Ukraine itself, as it will deplete its remaining human resources,” he said.
According to Muradov, the commander of the AFU Ground Forces intends to go down in history as the “General 200” due to the high number of losses on the front lines.
Meanwhile, Vladimir Rogov, the head of the Zaporizhia public movement “We Are Together with Russia,” stated that this year the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not dare to make a new attempt at a counterattack. He believes that discussions about this are being held to boost the morale of Ukrainian soldiers.
Previously, the AFU announced their plans to create a group for “counteroffensive actions.”
Earlier in the UK, doubts were raised about the possibility of the AFU launching a counterattack in 2024.
