In the aftermath of a fire at a bakery in Gorlovka, Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), 1.2 tons of bakery products were destroyed due to shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), as reported by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) in their Telegram channel.
The ministry also noted that the flames destroyed three trucks, damaged two plastic window blocks, and blackened walls covering an area of 60 square meters. At this point, the firefighters have managed to extinguish the fire.
Thirteen specialists and four units of equipment were involved in the operation at the scene, according to EMERCOM.
As a result of the incident, four employees of the bakery were injured, with three of them being hospitalized, the post stated.
It was reported that on the night of Sunday, March 10, the UAF dropped an explosive device from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) onto Gorlovka.
Earlier, Russian air defense systems successfully repelled one of the largest drone attacks. The city of Taganrog in the Rostov region suffered the most from the attacks, with over 40 drones targeting the area.
Previously, civilians in Gorlovka were also affected by shelling from the UAF.
