Officer Returned from Special Forces Mission Due to Unpaid Microloan. Criminal Case for Fraud Filed Against Him.

Officer of the Internal Service of the Federal Penitentiary Service (GUFSIN) was returned from the zone of special detention due to an unpaid microloan of 5,000 rubles. This was reported by the Telegram channel Baza.

According to the publication, in February 2022, special forces officer Arzu Ahmedov took several microloans, about ten, each amounting to 5,000 rubles. He repaid all the debts except one, which he simply forgot about and returned two months later. After that, the man went to the special detention zone and learned there that a criminal case had been initiated against him for credit fraud.

It turned out that when applying for the loan, Ahmedov indicated a different place of work, which is why the investigation initiated a criminal case of embezzlement. However, he correctly provided all other information (passport, address, phone number, and income level).

Due to the criminal case, the officer was returned from the special detention zone, and in March 2023, he was convicted of fraud and dismissed from his job. In October of the same year, the court overturned the verdict and referred the case back to the prosecutor’s office. However, recently, the fraud charges were brought again, even though Ahmedov’s debt had been repaid a month before the criminal case was initiated.

In February, a third-grade student took out a microloan on behalf of his father in order to buy currency in an online game.

It has become known who among Russians requests the largest microloans.
