Residents of Taganrog report explosions above the city. Information about this is being reported by the Telegram channel Shot.
According to the channel’s information, received from local residents, there were 15 to 20 loud bangs heard above the city. It is presumed that these sounds are a sign of the operation of air defense systems, which are defending the city.
In addition to the sounds of explosions, local residents also note a loud noise resembling an engine.
At the moment, no official information has been received from the regional authorities.
Previously, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, reported that Russian air defense systems had shot down a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone.
He also warned residents not to approach the debris of the drones, as the region is still under a declared missile threat.
Earlier, Ukrainian drones were shot down in the sky above the Leningrad region.
