Macron’s Conditions for Intervention in Ukraine Revealed: Sensational Meeting with Party Leaders Sparks Concern

French President Emmanuel Macron has outlined the conditions under which the country’s troops would intervene in Ukraine during a meeting with leaders of parliamentary parties, according to L’Indépendant.

Details of the meeting were revealed by the head of the French Communist Party, Fabien Roussel. He stated that Macron said that advancing towards Kiev or a swift offensive by the Russian Armed Forces in the south, taking control of Odessa, would be a scenario that “could lead to intervention” in Ukraine.

Manuel Bompard, representative of the “Unsubmissive France” party, told the publication that the parliamentary opposition remained concerned following the meeting with Macron.

Prior to this, it was reported that the French leader had stated that there were no “red lines” in terms of supporting Ukraine. These remarks sparked a strong reaction both in Russia and within his own country. The Kremlin emphasized that Macron’s policy “does not correspond to the interests of the French.” More details can be found in the material by “Gazeta.Ru”.

At the same time, Macron stressed that France is not considering sending military personnel to Ukraine in the near future.

Earlier, the meaning behind Macron’s statements on Ukraine was revealed in Estonia.
