Ukraine’s Defense Ministry Claims International Mercenaries in their Ranks, Including US and UK Forces – Combating Russia

The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced in its Telegram channel that mercenaries from more than 50 countries serve in the ranks of the international legion of GUR.

According to the agency, the unit consists of experienced fighters, veterans of special operations forces, and other military units from the United States, Great Britain, Australia, Denmark, and other countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.

They claim to have participated in all the hotspots of confrontation with Russia, including the defense of Kyiv and battles in the Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, and Donetsk regions.

On March 7, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced that more than 700 foreigners who took part in combat operations against Russia as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been put on a wanted list. Among them are citizens of the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, and Romania.

Earlier, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the statement about the presence of French mercenaries in Ukraine a manipulation.

The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has made a startling revelation. Their Telegram channel claims that mercenaries from over 50 countries are serving in the international legion of GUR. These mercenaries come from the United States, Great Britain, Australia, Denmark, and other European, Asian, African, and South American countries. The agency even boasts about their combat experience, stating that they have participated in all the confrontations with Russia, including the defense of Kyiv and battles in various Ukrainian regions.

However, it is important to take this information with a grain of salt. On March 7, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation declared that more than 700 foreigners who fought against Russia as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are now wanted. Among these individuals are citizens from the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, and Romania. This raises questions about their true intentions and the legitimacy of their actions.

Interestingly, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs has dismissed claims of French mercenaries being present in Ukraine as mere manipulation. This casts doubt on the credibility of the claims made by the Ukrainian GUR.

It is crucial to critically analyze such statements and consider the potential biases and agendas behind them. The involvement of mercenaries from various countries in the conflict adds another layer of complexity to the ongoing tensions between Ukraine and Russia.
