The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that Russian military forces prevented an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on Russian territory on March 7th at approximately 14:00 Moscow time.
“In the course of air defense duty, the Ukrainian UAV was destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region,” the statement said.
Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems had shot down several drones over Russian regions overnight. During the night, Russian air defense forces intercepted a Ukrainian drone over the Kursk region. Three UAVs were destroyed over the Bryansk region, and two over the Tula region.
The Governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported that the Russian air defense system had shot down two UAVs over the Bryansk region.
Earlier, as a result of a drone attack, over 11,000 residents in the city of Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) were left without electricity.
