Russian Forces Continue to Target Ukraine’s Critical Infrastructure, Causing Damage in Kherson Region

In the controlled areas of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson region, critical infrastructure facilities and port infrastructure have been damaged. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, who is subordinate to the Ukrainian authorities.

According to him, hits on the port infrastructure were recorded in Kherson. In one of the settlements in the region, damage was found in a warehouse and on a critical infrastructure facility. However, he did not specify which specific settlement was affected.

At the same time, no air alarm was declared in the region during the night.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation began to strike at Ukrainian infrastructure from October 10, 2022 – two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which was carried out by Ukrainian special services. The attacks are targeting objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the country. Since then, air alarms have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire territory of the country.

Earlier, in the Khmelnytsky region in western Ukraine, an explosion damaged an infrastructure facility.
