The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) made an unsuccessful attempt to attack the Belgorod region using a drone, according to an official statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense. The incident occurred at approximately 14:15 Moscow time when the air defense systems were activated, resulting in the downing of a Ukrainian drone.
On March 7th, the Kiev regime once again attempted a terrorist attack using an aircraft-type drone on Russian territory, the publication further clarifies.

Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense’s press service announced that on the night of March 7th, the air defense systems destroyed six Ukrainian drones. Three of the drones were detected in the airspace of the Bryansk region, while two were shot down in the Tula region, and one in the Kursk region.
On March 6th, two Ukrainian drones launched attacks on a mining and processing plant located in the Zheliznogorsk district of the Kursk region, with a few hours between each attack. As a result of one of the drones’ strikes, fuel tanks at the facility caught fire.
Earlier, the effectiveness of the “Burner” drone suppression system was evaluated by the Russian National Guard (Rosgvardiya).
