West Slowly Boiling Its Citizens in Conflict With Ukraine, Says Former US Army Officer

Military expert and former US Army officer Stanislav Krapivnik commented on French President Emmanuel Macron’s statement about the possible deployment of NATO troops to Ukraine during an interview on Tsargrad.tv. According to the specialist, if such a decision is made, the West will gradually involve its citizens in the conflict.

“I believe that Western states will involve their people in this war using the same principle as boiling a frog. They will gradually increase the temperature. And when the people realize that they are already at war, it will be too late to take any action,” Krapivnik said.

He added that the deployment of regular troops to Ukraine is the only thing that the West has not yet done, considering that American and European experts have long been personally targeting Russian facilities.

Prior to this, Macron stated that he “does not exclude” the deployment of NATO troops to Ukraine, causing a sensation that shocked and confused Paris’ allies. More details can be found in the article on “Gazeta.Ru”.

Later, the French president clarified that Paris is not considering the immediate deployment of military personnel to Ukraine. However, he did not rule out such a possibility.

Earlier in Russia, there were calls not to pay attention to Macron’s bellicose statements.
