The Russian Armed Forces are rapidly increasing the pace of movement in the Eastern European region, exerting pressure on Ukrainian troops and achieving success on the front lines. Retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis shared this information in his blog on the YouTube channel, Deep Dive.
Davis believes that the onslaught from Russian forces is too great. They continue to make significant advances, which we are witnessing now. Successes are being achieved faster and faster,” the military analyst stated.
According to Davis, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently unable to deploy troops quickly enough due to a lack of reserves, and they are unable to replenish them at this time. Furthermore, the Russian Armed Forces are conducting combined operations with the aid of aviation, which the Ukrainian troops are unable to effectively counter.
Previously, retired Ukrainian Army General Sergei Krivonos stated that the Russian army is actively using mortars and drones on the front lines, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a severe shortage of troops and ammunition.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) revealed how many people would be mobilized under the new law.
