Kremlin Spokesperson Acknowledges Inevitable Issues with Supplying Military in Ukraine Operation, Calls for Citizen Support

Russian Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has acknowledged certain supply problems for the country’s military due to the scale of the Special Military Operation (SMO) in Ukraine. Peskov’s comments were reported by RIA Novosti.

On Wednesday, March 6, a representative of the Russian president participated in the “Knowledge. First” marathon organized by the Russian Society “Knowledge” as part of the World Youth Festival taking place in the federal territory of Sirius.

“Given the scale of the operation and the length of the front line exceeding one thousand kilometers, certain problems are inevitable. Over the past two years, a tremendous amount of work has been done in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to address many of the initial shortcomings,” Peskov said, commenting on the situation at the front.

However, according to the Kremlin spokesman, Russian soldiers still need overall assistance from the population and will continue to do so in the future. In this regard, he expressed his joy that Russian citizens are united in their desire to support the participants of the military operations.

Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin assessed the supply of weapons and ammunition to the country’s army.
