Governor of Sevastopol Warns Residents About Loud Sounds in the City Linked to Black Sea Fleet Exercises

Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev has warned residents not to be alarmed by loud noises in the city, as they will be related to exercises by the Black Sea Fleet. The official clarified that the drills will involve training for anti-submarine and sabotage support (ASWS), including the use of firearms.

The exercises are expected to last until approximately 11:00, according to Razvozhaev’s post on his Telegram channel. He assured that everything in the city is calm.

In addition, it was announced on the morning of March 6th that the ferries “Admiral Istomin” and “Admiral Lazarev” did not go into service in Sevastopol.

On the night of March 5th, traffic was temporarily blocked on the Crimean Bridge, but was allowed again in the morning. It was reported that several loud explosions occurred over Kerch during the night. Witnesses claimed that they heard three to five powerful blasts in different areas of the city.

Earlier, Sevastopol experienced a partial power outage.
