This incident comes after the entire territory of Ukraine was put on high alert due to an aerial threat. On March 5, an aerial alert was declared in five regions of Ukraine, namely Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Poltava, and Kharkiv.
During the night of March 5, a series of explosions took place in Odessa. Ukrainian media reports suggest that the city’s air defense system was activated.
