Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov of the Belgorod region has stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked a cargo vehicle carrying civilians in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka using a kamikaze drone. This information was reported in the governor’s Telegram channel.
According to him, there were no casualties as a result of the explosion, but the vehicle was damaged by shrapnel.
Prior to this, Gladkov reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched a drone in the village of Novopetrovka. However, no one was injured, and the shrapnel only damaged the vehicle.
Yesterday, in the Belgorod region, several storage tanks at an oil depot near the village of Dolgoe caught fire after an attack by three AFU drones. On the same day, Ukrainian special services attempted to cause an “ecological catastrophe” in the Samara region. In Voronezh, aviation danger was declared due to the approach of enemy UAVs. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, three Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense systems overnight on March 5th.
