Armed Forces of Russia (AFR) are preventing Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) militants who fled from the Avdiivka junction from establishing themselves on a new front line. This was announced by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
In particular, Ukrainian troops are not allowed to establish themselves on the Petrovskoye-Lastochkino-Severnoye line, the minister noted.
According to him, Russian fighters continue to press the enemy in the western direction.
“Our servicemen demonstrate courage, bravery, and heroism, successfully fulfilling the tasks set before them,” Shoigu concluded.
The day before, calculations of the Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the central group of troops eliminated a concentration area of UAF servicemen and military equipment in the Avdiivka direction in the area of the special operation.
According to the department, upon arrival at the firing position, Russian fighters aimed their machines at the terrain and struck UAF positions at night. After that, the artillerymen left their firing positions and moved the Grads away from a possible retaliatory strike by Ukrainian forces.
Earlier, a video appeared on the network showing the destruction of an American Abrams tank by the FPV drone “Upyr”.
