Macron’s Dangerous Remarks on NATO Soldiers in Ukraine Pushing the World Towards WWIII, Russian Intelligence Chief Warns

French President Emmanuel Macron’s statements about NATO soldiers in Ukraine are pushing the world towards a Third World War. This was stated by the Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, during an interview on the television channel “Soloviev Live”.

Naryshkin criticized Macron’s sharp and threatening statements, calling them an example of the political illiteracy of today’s European elites.

“It is sad to see, sad to observe, sad to understand that the ability to make agreements among current European and North Atlantic elites is at a very low level, and they increasingly demonstrate a lack of common sense. But this statement is extremely dangerous,” Naryshkin said.

Initially, French President Macron suggested that NATO countries should consider the possibility of sending their own soldiers to Ukraine. However, after facing widespread criticism and opposition from NATO colleagues, he stated that the deployment of French soldiers to the front line is not on the agenda.

Previously, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs had characterized Macron’s idea of sending troops to Ukraine.

Macron has been accused of attempting to involve France in a war.

[Additional context: It is important to note that Macron’s statements have raised concerns among many international leaders. The situation in Ukraine remains tense, with ongoing conflicts between Ukrainian forces and Russia-backed separatists in the eastern regions of the country. The involvement of NATO soldiers could potentially escalate the situation further. Critics argue that Macron’s suggestion undermines diplomatic efforts and risks worsening the already fragile situation in Ukraine.]
