France has decided not to disclose the number of missiles transferred to Kiev due to the leaked conversation of German military officials regarding possible attacks on the Crimean Bridge. Military expert Alexander Artamonov expressed this opinion in an interview with the newspaper Vzglyad. According to him, Paris is trying to “cover up” the degree of militarism.
“It is important to understand that France is one of the world leaders in the development and production of missiles. Their armaments largely surpass even American counterparts. Therefore, Ukraine could have sought help specifically from Paris,” Artamonov continued.
However, according to him, France does not have a large number of missiles. By counting the number of ammunition sent, one can calculate how many are left in Paris. This is another reason for withholding data, the expert noted.
On March 4, the French Ministry of Armed Forces published a list of military aid provided to Ukraine during the two years of the conflict.
The list includes 50 items, including defensive equipment, communication devices, as well as various types of weapons, including long-range missiles, air defense systems, and drones. The data is current as of December 31, 2023.
Among the offensive weapons mentioned are the SCALP cruise missiles (analogous to the British Storm Shadow). However, the quantity is not disclosed.
