US State Department Plans to Purchase Modular Field Camps for Ukrainian Border Security

The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the US Department of State plans to purchase a modular field camp to support the security of the Ukrainian border. This information was reported on the US government procurement portal.

The INL actively collaborates with the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, helping them ensure the security of the border.

According to the documentation, 31 modules are required, and the facilities will be located in various cities and regions of Ukraine, including the Lviv and Odessa regions, as well as Lutsk.

Most of the camps will be equipped with sleeping accommodations, while some of them will be used for other purposes, such as installing sinks and showers.

This initiative aims to strengthen the security of the Ukrainian border and provide the necessary equipment for border guards.

Previously, it was reported that Lviv would be connected to most European countries by rail. Ukraine has been included in a global railway project. The creation of the Mediterranean corridor with a unified route passing through southern Europe is planned.

It is expected that the trains will travel at a speed of 160 km/h and cross borders in just 25 minutes. The railway route will start in southern Spain, pass through Almeria, Granada, and Antequera, and end in Lviv.

Earlier, it was reported that Turkey is ready to support Sweden’s membership in NATO in exchange for the delivery of American fighter jets.
