Lara Trump Slams Nikki Haley’s Stubbornness and Donor Dependency, Calls for Suspension of Campaign

In an exclusive interview with Digital, Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of former President Trump and candidate for Republican National Committee (RNC) co-chair, criticized presidential candidate Nikki Haley for her determination to remain in the race regardless of the outcome of the South Carolina primary. Trump questioned the logic behind Haley’s stubbornness and suggested that it was the donors who were keeping her campaign alive.

Trump’s comments came after Haley criticized her for suggesting that all RNC funds should go towards former President Trump’s re-election. Haley argued that America does not anoint kings and questioned the need for Haley to continue fighting against the Republican nominee and the leader of the party.

Trump speculated that Haley might be relying on former President Trump’s legal troubles to hinder his presidential run, which she deemed as undemocratic and un-American. She expressed her belief that anyone not standing up against election interference should not be running for President of the United States.

Trump called for Haley to suspend her campaign and join Team Trump to focus on defeating Joe Biden in the November election. She dismissed any concerns about a protracted primary race with Haley and stated that former President Trump’s focus is on defeating Biden.

According to a recent South Carolina voter survey, Trump holds a commanding 63% support compared to Haley’s 35%. It is unclear how Haley’s campaign will respond to these criticisms.
