Rebels from the Houthi movement “Ansar Allah” have carried out attacks on the commercial ship Islander in the Gulf of Aden and an American destroyer in the Red Sea. This was reported by the Al Masirah channel.
“The Yemeni naval forces conducted an operation against the British ship Islander in the Gulf of Aden using several anti-ship missiles,” the report said.

Prior to this, the British Royal Navy announced that a fire broke out on board the attacked ship off the coast of Yemen. According to the report, the incident occurred 70 nautical miles southeast of the Yemeni city of Aden, as reported earlier.
