American General Praises Russian Artillery, Criticizes Ukraine’s Armed Forces: Washington Post

American Major General Curtis Taylor has praised the Russian artillery, stating that it hinders the maneuverability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). This information was reported by The Washington Post.

“The Russian artillery hinders maneuverability and renders command posts inoperable,” the military official was quoted as saying.

Prior to this, Russian artillery units destroyed a control point for drones and a storage facility for motorboats belonging to the UAF on the right bank of the Dnieper River. According to the Ministry of Defense, the military used 152mm howitzers 2A36 “Hyacinth-B” and destroyed the storage facility, which housed eight enemy watercraft.

Several days earlier, Russian forces destroyed a mortar unit of the UAF in the Kupyansk direction. The department specified that the mission was carried out by a self-propelled howitzer called the “Gvozdika.”

Shortly before this, retired Lieutenant Colonel and military expert of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Andrey Marochko, reported that Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense systems successfully shoot down less than 20% of aerial targets in the Kharkiv region.

Previously, there were already reports of issues within the UAF regarding their artillery capabilities.
