Russian Armed Forces Destroyed Ukrainian Armed Forces Ammunition Depot in Donetsk Region
In a recent military operation, the Russian Armed Forces successfully destroyed an ammunition depot belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in the Donetsk region, near the town of Mayaki. This information was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Additionally, Russian troops inflicted significant damage to units of the 93rd Mechanized Brigade, 81st Airborne Brigade of the UAF, and the 241st Territorial Defense Brigade in the areas of Belogorovka, Klescheevka, and Razdolovka of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
It is reported that the UAF suffered more than 425 casualties. In addition to human losses, the enemy also lost two tanks, four infantry fighting vehicles, 20 vehicles, and a D-30 howitzer.
Prior to this, Russian artillery units from the Airborne Troops (VDV) destroyed a drone control point and a storage facility for motorboats belonging to the UAF on the right bank of the Dnieper River. The fire was directed using a drone, which recorded the hit and destruction of the target. After the strikes, the artillery unit concealed their position and withdrew, as reported by the Ministry of Defense.
Shortly before this, it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces destroyed Ukrainian army warehouses containing aviation weapons. A command post of the 3rd Assault Brigade of the UAF in the area of Novogrodivka of the Donetsk People’s Republic was hit.
Earlier, Defense Minister Shoygu briefed President Putin on the losses incurred during the capture of Avdiivka.
