Russian paratroopers from the Airborne Forces destroyed a command post for unmanned aerial vehicles and a warehouse with motor boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the right bank of the Dnieper. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The artillerymen received the coordinates of the target from scouts. According to the ministry, the military used 152-mm howitzers 2A36 “Hyacinth-B” and destroyed the warehouse, which stored eight enemy watercraft.
The fire was adjusted using a drone, which recorded the hit and destruction of the target. After the strikes, the crew masked the weapon and left the firing position, the Ministry of Defense concluded.
Before this, a military expert, retired Lieutenant Colonel of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR), Andrey Marochko, reported that Ukrainian air defense systems shoot down less than 20% of aerial targets in the Kharkiv region. He noted that combined missile and bomb strikes from Russia have become one of the main problems for Ukrainian air defense on the Kupyansk direction.
Earlier, the Pentagon noticed problems with the military equipment transferred to Ukraine.
