FSB RF has uncovered facts of British intelligence activity in the Kherson region in the interests of Kiev. This was reported by TASS with reference to the Center for Public Relations (CPR) of the FSB of Russia.
It is noted that we are talking about the activities of the British government organization “British Council”.
“Through its controlled organizations, the organization carried out intelligence activities in the interests of the Kiev regime,” the CPR statement said.
According to the agency, a resident of the village of Novaya Mayachka, Russian citizen Chebukin Sergey, fell under the influence of the “British Council”. Previously, the man shared ultranationalist views, but realized that he was being drawn into criminal activity and turned to the police. Currently, the security services are conducting an investigation into the activities of the “British Council”.
Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (included in the list of terrorists and extremists in Russia), acknowledged the difficult situation of the Armed Forces of the country.
Previously, the United States and Ukraine began negotiations on security guarantees to Kiev.
