Russian Forces Capture Ukrainian Tank Upgraded by Ukrainian Specialists, Poses Threat to Enemy Attacks

A captured Russian T-64 tank has played an active role in the battles for the capture of the city of Avdiivka. This was stated by the tank commander with the call sign “Chuta” from the tank battalion of the 1st Slavic Brigade in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

According to him, the tank’s defense has been upgraded by Ukrainian specialists, making it more resistant to enemy attacks.

“It is more difficult to destroy it than our T-64,” explained the commander.

He believes that the machine was prepared for export to Poland, as evidenced by the inscriptions in Polish.

“Chuta” expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian engineers for their work on upgrading the tank, emphasizing that the machine has proven to be very effective in combat conditions.

“It didn’t make it to Poland. We intercepted it. So, it’s a good machine,” added the military commander.

Prior to this, the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, reported to Putin about the successes of the Russian military in Avdiivka. According to the Minister of Defense, the Russian Armed Forces managed to take control of territories with minimal losses – a coking-chemical plant came under the control of Russia, and now Russian military forces are moving westward. Shoigu also informed Putin about the “clearing” of the village of Kryinka, which “puts an end to the Ukrainian counteroffensive.” More details can be found in the material of “Gazeta.Ru”.

Earlier, trophy Ukrainian armored vehicles were delivered to Donetsk.

In the recent battles for the city of Avdiivka, a captured Russian T-64 tank has proven to be a formidable asset. The tank, with the call sign “Chuta” and belonging to the tank battalion of the 1st Slavic Brigade, has been upgraded by Ukrainian specialists, making it more resilient against enemy attacks. Its enhanced defense capabilities have made it more difficult for the enemy to destroy compared to the Ukrainian T-64 tanks.

The tank’s impressive performance can be attributed to the Ukrainian engineers who worked on its modernization. The machine, which was apparently intended for export to Poland, bears inscriptions in Polish, further confirming its origin.

The tank commander, known as “Chuta,” expressed his gratitude to the Ukrainian engineers for their exceptional work. He highlighted that the tank has proven to be highly effective in combat situations, demonstrating its value on the battlefield.

The interception of the tank before it reached Poland showcases the prowess of the Ukrainian forces. It is a testament to their ability to thwart enemy plans and seize valuable assets.

In a separate development, the Russian Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, briefed President Putin on the achievements of the Russian military in Avdiivka. According to Shoigu, the Russian Armed Forces successfully gained control of strategic territories with minimal losses. Notably, a coking-chemical plant has been brought under Russian control, and the Russian military is now advancing westward.

Shoigu also informed Putin about the successful “clearing” of the village of Kryinka, which marks a significant setback for the Ukrainian counteroffensive. These accomplishments demonstrate the effectiveness and determination of the Russian military.

Additionally, it should be noted that trophy Ukrainian armored vehicles have been delivered to Donetsk, further highlighting the ongoing conflict in the region.

The situation in Avdiivka remains tense as both sides continue their struggle for control. The capture of the Russian T-64 tank serves as a reminder of the high stakes involved and the importance of military capabilities in the ongoing conflict.
