Russian Military to Introduce Advanced Flamethrower System, Potentially Devastating for Enemy Forces, Claims Newspaper

The heavy flame-throwing system TOC-3 “Dragon” will incorporate the best features of the operational TOC-1A “Solntsepek” and TOC-2 “Tosochka”. This was reported by “Army Standard”.

It is noted that the TOC-3 will have a tracked chassis, which will allow the combat vehicle to successfully overcome off-road obstacles. It is highly likely that the “Dragon” will be able to operate without a transport-loading vehicle, which will increase its efficiency.

In addition, the TOC-3 will receive improved dynamic protection. Reducing the number of projectiles with thermobaric or incendiary warheads in the combat module will lead to an increase in their destructive power.

“It can be confidently stated that the Russian army will soon have a modern and powerful means of attack,” the article says.

Previously, Russian military forces used the heavy flame-throwing system TOC-2 “Tosochka” to strike a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry in a fortified area within the military operation zone.

Following this, the devastating effectiveness of the “Tosochka” flame-throwing system was recognized in Poland. The use of the TOC-2 “Tosochka” by the Russian Armed Forces can cause immense damage to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to the Interia newspaper.

Earlier, Russian troops destroyed heavily fortified positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the help of the TOC-2.
