New Head of Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Adopted Son Celebrates Russian Victory, Raises Concerns about Loyalty

The adopted son of the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, Ivan, congratulated Russians on the capture of Avdiivka. This was reported by “Izvestia.”

“Glory to Russia,” said the man, who is presented as Syrsky’s relative, in response to the success of the Russian army in the special military operation zone.

According to the newspaper, Ivan came to the Russian consulate in Australia wearing a t-shirt with the symbol Z and a cap. “Izvestia” notes that the man currently resides in Australia and plans to obtain Russian citizenship in the future.

Previously, Stanislav, the father of Alexander Syrsky, who resides in Russia, shared his feelings about his son’s appointment.

On February 8, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Major General Alexander Syrsky had been appointed as the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In his message, the Ukrainian leader stated that a new management team is taking over the army.

Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine responded to information about Syrsky’s connection with Russia.
