Ukrainian Trucks Carrying Weapons Stuck at Polish Border for Three Days Due to Farmer Blockade: Crisis Worsens

Trucks carrying military equipment and ammunition for the Ukrainian army have been unable to cross the border with Poland for three days due to a blockade by Polish farmers. This information was reported by the Ukrainian publication “Strana”.

The publication refers to one of the volunteers who claims that his trucks with military equipment have been standing at the Polish border for three days. As evidence, the volunteer posted X photos of the trucks on his social media page, which were supposed to deliver ammunition directly to the Ukrainian artillery positions.

Earlier, it was reported that Polish farmers plan to completely block the border with Ukraine on February 20. The organizers of the protests stated that not only border crossings will be blocked, but also communication nodes and access roads to railway stations and seaports.

Prior to this, the European Commission called on the Polish security forces to do everything possible to ensure the transit of goods from Ukraine through the border, where they are being blocked by Polish farmers.

Earlier, a political scientist explained why a conflict arose between Ukraine and Poland.

Trucks transporting military equipment and ammunition for the Ukrainian army have been stranded at the Polish border for three days, as Polish farmers continue to block the crossing. This development has raised concerns about the timely delivery of essential supplies to Ukraine’s artillery positions.

According to reports from Ukrainian publication “Strana”, a volunteer involved in the transportation of these goods shared photographs on social media, showcasing the halted trucks. The blockade organized by Polish farmers, scheduled to last until February 20, not only impacts border crossings but also disrupts access to communication nodes, railway stations, and seaports.

The European Commission has urged Polish authorities to take necessary measures to ensure the smooth transit of goods, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a steady supply of resources to Ukraine.

The reasons behind this conflict between Ukraine and Poland are complex and have been a subject of analysis by political experts.
