ITV Refuses to Air Documentary Giving Russia’s Perspective on Ukraine’s War, Despite Public Criticism.

British TV channel ITV has decided not to remove the documentary film “Ukraine’s War: The Other Side” from the air, despite criticism from the public. The film presents Russia’s perspective on the ongoing conflict in the Ukrainian zone, as reported by The Daily Mail.

A representative from ITV described the film as an example of independent journalism that tells the story of ordinary people involved in the conflict.

According to the spokesperson, the film provides a unique opportunity for people to see what is happening “on the occupied Russian side of the front line” in a broader context of the Ukrainian conflict, which was “triggered by Russian invasion.”

“Ukraine’s War: The Other Side” was directed by British journalist Sean Langan, who, accompanied by a coordinator from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited territories under Russian army control. The reporter spoke with both military personnel and civilians.

One of the servicemen told Langan that Russia never wanted war, and this can be seen by carefully studying Russian history.

The documentary film is set to air on ITV on the evening of February 19.

Earlier, it was revealed why Ukrainian refugees in Britain are forced to return home.
