Head of the Zaporizhzhia public movement “We Are Together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov has stated that fierce battles are taking place in the Zaporizhzhia direction, particularly in the areas of Verbovyy and Rabotyno. His words were reported by RIA Novosti.
According to Rogov, the most intense battles are taking place in the Orehovsk direction of the Zaporizhzhia front line.
“Our guys are pushing back the enemy in the area of Verbovyy and Rabotyno. The enemy is suffering losses both in military equipment and personnel,” Rogov explained.
Previously, Rogov had stated that Russian forces had advanced up to 1.5 km along the line of contact in the area of the settlements Verbovyy and Rabotyno.
Russian Air Force strike aircraft were able to advance significantly beyond their initial positions, occupying a more advantageous position. Rogov noted that Ukraine is now facing the threat of losing the so-called Rabotyno salient between the settlements of Nesterianka and Novopokrovka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
