Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, stated that the contribution of the heroes of Chechnya to Russia’s victory in the special military operation is exceptional. This was reported by TASS.
“The number of heroes of the Chechen Republic is very significant, starting with Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov, Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov, many of his comrades, brothers-in-arms,” Medvedev said.
He also noted that the actions of Chechen soldiers and military leaders are important for the victory in the special military operation. Medvedev also congratulated the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, on being awarded the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” of the II degree. “This is also an evaluation of the work carried out by the head of the republic, an evaluation from the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the President of our country, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin,” added the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, Medvedev stated that Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine did not follow the canons of wars of the past due to the use of drones. The politician made this statement during a meeting with commanders of Chechen units in Grozny. According to Medvedev, drones from “future technologies” have become a real factor in combat actions during the special military operation.
