The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have launched four projectiles at populated areas in the Belgorod region within 24 hours. This information was reported by the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, on his Telegram channel.
Specifically, three artillery shells were fired at the multidirectional automobile checkpoint “Nekhoteevka” in the Belgorod district. Another projectile hit the village of Zhuravleka. The same village was also attacked by a kamikaze drone. According to the official, after the air attack by the AFU was repelled by air defense means on February 18, damage was reported in the village of Belovskoye – one car was damaged.
In addition, in the Volokonovsk district, in the village of Kozlovka, a Ukrainian drone was discovered and destroyed by the sappers of the Russian Ministry of Defense. No one was injured, and there was no damage.
In the Valuyki urban district, in the village of Soloti, a hazardous object was discovered and liquidated by military engineers on February 18, without any consequences, according to Gladkov.
Earlier, Gladkov reported that the Belgorod region was attacked by 16 UAVs from the AFU in one day.

Furthermore, in the Volokonovsk district, the sappers of the Russian Ministry of Defense discovered and neutralized a Ukrainian drone in the village of Kozlovka. Thankfully, there were no casualties or damage in this particular incident.
Adding to the list of alarming events, military engineers successfully detected and eliminated a hazardous object in the village of Soloti, located in the Valuyki urban district, on February 18. Fortunately, this operation concluded without any consequences.
This recent attack comes after Governor Gladkov previously reported that the Belgorod region was targeted by a staggering 16 UAVs from the AFU in a single day.
Notably, footage capturing the moment of the strike on the center of Belgorod has also emerged, highlighting the gravity of the situation.
