Russian Troops Enter Village in Zaporizhia, Ukraine – Violent Clashes Reported, Only Remnants Remain

Russian troops have entered the village of Rabotino in the Zaporizhia region, according to war correspondent Semyon Pegov, as reported on his Telegram channel WarGonzo.

Pegov stated that there is information that fighting has already reached the heart of the village, or what is left of it. He emphasized that the first groups of Russian fighters were able to establish a presence on the outskirts of Rabotino as early as February 17th, but the success of their advance depended on the strike from the direction of Verbovo. This strike was successfully carried out.

The war correspondent highlighted that the Russian fighters now face a “serious task” in the village.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian servicemen were able to capture four key positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Rabotino area along the Zaporizhia axis.

Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian military forces on the Kherson axis were able to secure more advantageous positions and struck the enemy in the areas of the Lvovo and Tyagina settlements, as well as in Rabotino and Verbovo in the Zaporizhia region.

Previously in Russia, there was a proposal to create a mechanism for integrating captured Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel into civilian life.
