Russian General Warns of Ukraine’s Potential Counteroffensive with Western Support, Threatening Stability

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU) still have the capability to launch another counteroffensive in the event of significant support from the West. This was stated by the Chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, First Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Colonel General Sergey Rudskoy, as reported by the newspaper “Krasnaya Zvezda”.

“VSU still maintain their combat readiness for active operations. In the future, in the event of massive military assistance from the West, another counteroffensive cannot be ruled out,” Rudskoy said.

On February 18, American Senator Lindsey Graham stated that the United States should provide military assistance to Ukraine on credit, as this country has abundant resources, while the US national debt has exceeded $34 trillion.

On the same day, British expert Alexander Mercouris said that Ukrainian servicemen are furious due to the incompetence of the commanders and the country’s leadership.

Prior to this, military observer for the German newspaper Bild, Julian Röpke, stated that the conflict between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and former Commander-in-Chief of the VSU Valery Zaluzhny became one of the reasons for the situation in the city of Avdiivka.

Earlier, an American analyst predicted the imminent failure of the VSU.
