Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley has expressed concerns about a potential military conflict between the United States and Russia following Ukraine’s defeat. In an interview with ABC, she warned against such a turn of events.
Haley stated that she has information suggesting that the Russian Federation is harboring “aggressive plans” towards Poland and the Baltic countries. She cautioned that this could lead to a confrontation.
Emphasizing the potential consequences, Haley noted that in the event of such a situation, NATO countries would be forced to intervene, thereby increasing the risk of the United States being drawn into a military conflict. In her opinion, supporting Ukraine in this context becomes crucial, and it is necessary to provide the country with all the necessary assistance to ensure its victory.
In January, Haley stated that American support for Ukraine prevents Russia from engaging in conflict with NATO countries.
Earlier in the United States, the need for approval of a new aid package for Ukraine was highlighted.
