Russian Military Academy Patents Hidden Interceptor Method for Increased Interference Efficiency: Critically Enhances Defense Strategies

Russia has patented a method for covertly directing a pair of interceptors to an aerial target to enhance jamming effectiveness. The patent belongs to the G.K. Zhukov Air and Space Defense Academy of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. The invention is related to the field of electronic warfare (EW).

According to the document, the method involves equipping two interceptors with active jamming stations, and their onboard radar stations are integrated into a system with information exchange channels. The attacking interceptor with the operating onboard radar system and the cover interceptor with the active jamming station are then identified. The cover interceptor approaches the attacking fighter during its guidance process, ensuring maximum cover effectiveness.

In December 2023, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) patented a method for controlling a group of drones by a single pilot-operator of an aircraft using an AI-based aggregator server.
