Ukrainian Armed Forces Shell Village in Kursk Region, Damaging Infrastructure

The village of Kulbaki in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region was targeted by the Ukrainian armed forces, resulting in damage to a gas pipeline and several buildings. The incident was reported by the head of the region, Roman Starovoit, through his Telegram channel.

According to Starovoit, a total of eight projectiles hit the village, fortunately without causing any casualties. Once the area is deemed safe, emergency crews will begin the restoration work, including repairing the damaged gas pipeline.

In addition to the gas pipeline, two administrative buildings and one residential property were also affected by the attack. Starovoit stated that the assessment of the damage is ongoing, and repairs will be initiated promptly.

This incident follows a previous attack on Mariupol, where Ukrainian forces attempted to launch long-range missile strikes during the night. However, the attack was successfully repelled by the city’s air defense system.

On the same day, Russian air defense forces intercepted and shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the vicinity of Kurchatov, located in the Kursk region.

Meanwhile, in the Belgorod region, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had fired over 90 shells at populated areas within the region.

Earlier, it was revealed that injured Ukrainian soldiers were being abandoned by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as they retreated from Avdiivka, according to the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

The situation in Ukraine remains tense as both sides continue to engage in military actions, causing significant damage to infrastructure and posing a threat to civilian lives. International efforts are ongoing to de-escalate the conflict and find a peaceful resolution.
