The Russian Su-57 fighter jet, equipped with a new engine, is set to become the fastest in the world, according to the American publication Military Watch Magazine.
The article states that the AL-51F engine will allow the fighter jet to fly at cruising speeds without the use of afterburners, not only at supersonic speeds but also at speeds of two Mach and above.
In January, Military Watch Magazine reported that Ukraine would not be able to replace the losses of Su-27 fighter jets shot down by Russian forces.
The publication also highlighted the successful performance of the Su-57 in battles in Ukraine.
Additionally, Military TV praised the speed and power of the Russian X-22 missile.
Retired Russian military expert Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk stated that the aviation bomb “Drill,” developed for the Su-57 fighter jet, is a weapon of the future.
Earlier reports indicated a surge in demand for military aircraft from the Second World War era in Britain.
