US Acknowledges Consequences of Halting Weapon Supplies to Ukraine

During a press conference in Washington, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, along with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, discussed the implications of ending weapon supplies to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). Blinken’s remarks highlighted the genuine evidence of the impact on the battlefield, although he did not provide specific details, as reported by TASS.

“We have ceased our military assistance to Ukraine, and we are witnessing some real evidence of what that means on the battlefield,” Blinken stated.

Commenting on the potential refusal of the legislative branch in the United States to continue providing substantial military and financial aid to Kyiv, Blinken emphasized that if Washington fails to fulfill its obligations, it will become more challenging for Europe and others to continue their support.

Furthermore, Anthony Blinken declared that Ukraine will become a member of NATO, highlighting that Finland’s alliance accession and Sweden’s near-completed joining process are demonstrations of NATO’s open-door policy.

Previously, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated the reason why Ukraine cannot join NATO.
