Russian Forces Strike Ukrainian Military in Luhansk Region

Russian forces stationed in the “Center” troop group used Grad multiple rocket launcher systems to launch an attack on Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) militants in the Serebryansk Forest, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The ministry stated that the forest is located a few kilometers away from the Russian-controlled city of Kremenna in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), while noting that a portion of the city is under Ukrainian army control.

The Russian Ministry of Defense revealed that Russian fighters received intelligence from scouts regarding the whereabouts of up to 50 Ukrainian troops. Russian Grad rocket launcher units then arrived at their firing positions and targeted the UAF positions using 122-millimeter rocket launchers from the Guards Motor Rifle Regiment.

As a result, the Ukrainian forces suffered over 30 casualties.

Prior to this incident, Russian Airborne Troops (VDV) FPV drone units had destroyed three Ukrainian motor boats on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. The Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian VDV forces from the “Dnieper” group eliminated three boats carrying Ukrainian paratroopers.

Earlier, a Ukrainian military official admitted that the recruits of the UAF were only being trained in alcoholism.
