Recent reports state that the home of Terri Rogers, a volunteer who organized searches for another missing woman, Nicole Baldwin, was raided by the police. Rogers had led numerous searches across Lake County in central Florida for Baldwin, who vanished on November 2, 2022, leaving behind all her belongings.
The Mount Dora Police Department executed a search warrant on Rogers’ home last week and seized several electronic devices. Rogers, who denies any involvement in Baldwin’s disappearance, expressed her shock at the raid, stating that all she had done was dedicate her time, emotions, and efforts to find Nicole. However, the police believe she may be withholding information and find the situation eerily reminiscent of Rogers’ own family’s experience when her niece, Tonya Whipp, went missing under similar circumstances in Polk County.
Jennifer Kesse, a 41-year-old mother of three, was last seen by her daughter on November 2, 2006. She left her home without her purse, wallet, car, and Apple Watch and never returned. In December, the investigation took a peculiar turn when police searched her husband, Brett Baldwin’s phone and allegedly found 31 images of child sex abuse. Brett was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of obscene material, although the charge is unrelated to Jennifer’s missing person case and is being handled by Homeland Security.
