An unmanned drone that attacked a United States base in the Middle East was launched from Syrian territory, according to a source in the “Islamic Resistance of Iraq,” as reported by Al Jazeera.

On January 28th, an American outpost in Jordan became the target of a nighttime drone attack. The US suffered the loss of three military personnel.

According to CNN, this is the first incident since the Gaza war began in which Washington has suffered casualties among its personnel due to the escalating situation in the region.

Following the attack, US President Joe Biden announced that the base was attacked with the support of Iran.

Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin stated that the US will take measures to ensure the safety of its troops in response to the attacks on American military personnel.

Earlier, Iraq provided advice to the US on actions in the Middle East.
