Squatters Turn Beverly Hills Mansion into Party House, Infuriating Neighbors

A luxurious Beverly Hills mansion, located on Beverly Grove Place, has been taken over by squatters who have transformed it into a notorious “party house.” The property’s listing agent, John Woodward, a court-appointed broker, revealed that the squatters had moved in late October and have been living there ever since. This situation has caused frustration among neighbors, who are appalled by the ongoing parties and the fact that taxpayers are footing the bill for utilities and maintenance.

Woodward disclosed that the alleged squatters have been unlawfully renting out rooms and hosting extravagant parties, charging entry fees of $100. It is estimated that they are making around $30,000 per month from these activities. The wild parties have become a major nuisance for the upscale neighborhood, leading to numerous police calls. Reports suggest that crack parties, laughing gas parties, and even orgies are taking place in the mansion.

The ownership of the $4.5 million estate is at the center of the issue. Previously owned by an orthopedic surgeon, Munir Uwaydah, who fled to Lebanon after being accused of the murder of his girlfriend, Julianna Redding, the property has been plagued by ownership disputes. The situation has raised concerns among residents, who are desperate to have the mansion sold and the squatters evicted.

John Woodward has sought assistance from local authorities, but his efforts have been met with limited success. When the LAPD was called, the squatters presented a fake lease, leading the police to categorize it as a civil matter. Frustrated neighbors then turned to District Attorney George Gascón’s office, hoping to cut off the utilities to the mansion. However, they were shocked to be informed that “squatters have rights.” Digital’s request for comment from George Gascon’s office went unanswered.

The situation highlights the ongoing issue of squatters taking over properties and causing havoc in upscale neighborhoods. The Beverly Hills mansion’s transformation into a notorious party house has created significant unrest among residents and drawn attention to the complexities of ownership disputes. The community now eagerly awaits a resolution to this troubling situation.
