Hunter Biden’s Business Associate Set to Testify on Alleged Foreign Funds for Biden Family

In the ongoing controversy surrounding Hunter Biden and his business dealings, his associate Rob Walker is scheduled to appear for a closed-door transcribed interview at the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees. This appearance comes as part of the House impeachment inquiry against President Biden and aims to shed light on Walker’s alleged role as a “vehicle” for the Biden family to receive foreign funds.

According to congressional subpoenas issued by House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer and Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan in November, Walker set up a limited liability company called Robinson Walker LLC, which was allegedly used to receive foreign funds and send a percentage of the money to Biden family members. One example provided by Comer and Jordan is when Joe Biden, while serving as vice president, received millions of dollars from a company owned by a Romanian who was then facing corruption charges. Robinson Walker LLC subsequently sent over one million dollars to Biden family accounts, including those of Hunter Biden and Hallie Biden.

The chairmen also highlighted other suspicious payments received by Robinson Walker LLC, including a $3 million payment from a Chinese company less than two months after Biden left the Obama administration. In the months following that payment, Robinson Walker LLC made incremental payments totaling over one million dollars to Biden family members and their associated companies.

A FBI FD-302 form, obtained by the House Ways and Means Committee, revealed that Walker stated the $3 million payment was a “thank you” from CEFC, a Chinese company. This information aligns with a previous report that Hunter Biden, his CEFC associate Gongwen Dong, and Joe Biden shared office space in Washington, D.C., in September 2017.

Comer and Jordan argue that evidence collected by congressional investigators suggests that President Biden was aware of his family’s business ventures and sought to influence potential deals that financially benefited them. They claim that Walker, as a key player in the Biden family’s business dealings and the complex financial transactions used to conceal foreign funds, may provide valuable evidence relevant to the impeachment inquiry.

The chairmen believe Walker’s testimony could address multiple concerns, including whether President Biden took official action or changed government policy due to money or other incentives provided to himself or his family. They also raise questions about whether Biden abused his office by providing foreign interests with access in exchange for payments to his family or himself.

Meanwhile, a former business associate of Hunter Biden described Walker as a “good guy” who got caught up in the “House of Biden dumpster fire.” Walker’s interview is scheduled to take place after Mervyn Yan, another of Hunter’s business associates, testified, and before Hunter Biden’s deposition on February 28.

This development adds to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding Hunter Biden’s business dealings and their potential impact on the Biden family. As the investigation continues, it remains to be seen how this testimony will affect the impeachment inquiry and public perception of the Biden administration.
