Russian military forces, supported by combat aircraft and artillery fire, have dealt a significant blow to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhia region. The 33rd, 65th Mechanized, and 128th Mountain Assault Brigades of the Ukrainian military have suffered casualties and equipment losses in the ongoing special operation. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has reported this development.
The clashes took place in the areas of Rabotino, Yurkivka, and Verbovo in the Zaporizhia region.
The Ukrainian forces have lost up to 130 servicemen, one tank, and four pickups.
Furthermore, in the course of counter-battery combat, Russian servicemen have successfully targeted the “Krab” self-propelled artillery system of Polish origin, the “Vampire” multiple rocket launcher system of Czech production, the “Gvozdika” self-propelled artillery system, and the D-20 howitzer.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost up to 50 servicemen and two combat armored vehicles in the Zaporizhia region.
Earlier, Ukraine had stated the conditions for conducting negotiations with Russia.
