In the past 24 hours, the Russian air defense system has successfully destroyed 91 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This significant development was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation during its daily briefing on the ongoing military operation.
According to the Russian defense ministry, the UAVs were targeted and destroyed in various locations, including Belohorivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Ploshchanka in the Luhansk People’s Republic, Tokarevka and Tavolzhanka in the Kharkiv region, as well as Sagi in the Kherson region, Verbovye, Ulyanovka, and Tokmak in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Furthermore, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that Russian servicemen, supported by combat aircraft and artillery fire, inflicted significant losses on the 33rd, 65th Mechanized, and 128th Mountain Assault Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction. As a result, the Ukrainian forces suffered the loss of up to 130 servicemen, one tank, and four pickups.
Prior to this, Ukraine had outlined the conditions for engaging in negotiations with Russia.
