Critical Infrastructure Damaged in Controlled Part of Ukraine

An object of critical infrastructure and a warehouse have been damaged in the controlled part of the Kherson region in Ukraine, where explosions occurred yesterday. This was reported by Alexander Prokudin, the appointed head of the Kherson regional military administration, in his Telegram channel.

According to him, these buildings are located in the Bereslavsky district. The official did not provide any further details.

Yesterday, Prokudin reported that explosions had occurred in the controlled city of Kherson in Ukraine. At that time, an air alarm was declared throughout the territory of Ukraine.

The Kherson region became part of the Russian Federation following the referendums held in September 2022. Since October 20 of the same year, a state of emergency has been imposed in the region. The region is located on the left bank of the Dnieper River in its lower reaches and is washed by the Azov and Black Seas.

Since October 10, 2022, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces have been striking Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, an air alarm has been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even throughout the country. As stated by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the attacks are carried out on objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command and communication facilities throughout the republic.

Earlier, Ukraine stated the conditions for negotiations with Russia.
