Multiple Explosions Reported in Melitopol, Zaporizhia Region, Ukraine

In the early hours of the morning, three explosions were reported in the city of Melitopol, located in the Zaporizhia region of Ukraine. The news was shared by Vladimir Rogov, the leader of the public movement “We Stand with Russia,” through his Telegram channel.

According to Rogov, the first explosion occurred around 00:08 Moscow time, followed by a second explosion approximately 10 minutes later. He mentioned the third explosion at 00:48 Moscow time.

Preliminary information suggests that the anti-aircraft defense system was triggered, indicating the possibility of an aerial attack.

Rogov emphasized that the exact causes and nature of the explosions are currently being investigated.

Earlier reports revealed that the Russian air defense systems had successfully downed 51 Ukrainian Armed Forces drones and several other targets within the past 24 hours.

Since the beginning of the conflict, Russian forces have destroyed a significant number of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including 11,140 drones, 452 anti-aircraft missile systems, 568 aircraft, 265 helicopters, 14,768 armored vehicles (including tanks), 1,206 rocket artillery systems, 7,846 artillery guns and mortars, as well as thousands of other military vehicles.

It is worth mentioning that Russia has recently developed a new drone suppression system, demonstrating their advanced capabilities in this field.
