Series of Explosions Rock Kharkiv as Ukraine Remains Under Attack

A series of explosions has occurred in Kharkiv, according to reports from the city’s mayor, Igor Terekhov. The air alarm was previously declared in the Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions, as well as in areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and Zaporizhia region under Kyiv’s control. However, it was canceled in most regions after half an hour. Currently, the alarm is still in effect in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

According to available information, the Russian Armed Forces began striking Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which Russian authorities claim was orchestrated by Ukrainian special services. The attacks target various sectors, including energy, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the country. Since then, the air alarm has been declared daily in different regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire territory.

Earlier, Deputy Bezuhly suggested candidates for the position of the new Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU).

It is important to note that the situation in Ukraine remains tense, with ongoing attacks and escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine. The international community continues to monitor the situation closely, as the conflict has significant implications for regional stability and global security.
